Communal bins near you
You do not have a bin at your door for every type of waste. If you live in an apartment or flat, you take your residual waste to an underground container in your street. Sometimes there is also a shared organic waste (GFT) container. For glass, paper and cardboard, textiles and nappies, there are recycling banks dotted around the municipality.
Underground container locations
If you enter your postcode and house number in the waste collection calendar, you can also see the locations of communal container near you. You can also find this under 'verzamelcontainers' in the ACV app.
The map shows locations for organic waste (GFT), glass, nappies, underground containers for residual waste, paper and cardboard and textiles, among other things.
The container is not working properly
Will the container not open with your ACV pass? The container can resolve minor faults itself. This may take a few minutes. Is the fault still there? Please let us know easily using the form. We can help you fastest if you share the error message and container number with us.
